Chapter Nine

Jocelyn

My dreams were filled with all manner of erotic behavior last night. In them, I was making love to Benji. The twins had me trapped between them, filling me from both sides. James was fucking me hard, but he wasn’t taking me in the vicious way that he did the night before.

My mind takes me back to Benji, when he made my body quake with pleasure I’ve never felt before. His description of an orgasm was quite appropriate. I was out of my mind by the time he was finished with me. I felt like a completely different person.

When he closed his lips over mine, sharing a bit of what he’d taken from me, I tried to refuse him. I can’t deny that I’m glad he made me. Shamelessly, I’ll admit that tasting myself on his tongue as he swirled it around in my mouth was intoxicating. It was naughty. It was nothing that I ever expected to do. I suppose I should get used to the unexpected, being here.

“She’s escaped!”

James’ booming voice echoes through the house, tearing me from my obscene dreams. Benji shoots up from his bed, accidentally tossing me onto the floor.

“Ow!”

Looking up at Benji, I watch in the dull morning light as relief washes over his face. He’s realized that I haven’t gone anywhere in the middle of the night.

Was he more worried that I left his house, or his bed?

I spot my discarded shirt on the floor and pull it over my head. The sound of James’ boots barreling up the steps is scary, like cannons firing in close range. He nearly tramples over Harry and Henry as they fly from their rooms to see what’s happened.

“She’s gone. Get dressed. We need to find her.”

Lifting myself off the floor, I interrupt James’ outburst.

“I’m not gone,” I say forcefully, walking around the bed so I can address James, face-to-face.

James walks into Benji’s room, the twins follow him and study me from the doorway.

“What is she doing out of her restraints?”

“I brought her up here last night.”

“Without my permission?” James challenges.

“I haven’t needed your permission to share my bed with anyone before.” Benji stands tall, placing himself between James and me. “Why the sudden change?”

I haven’t seen Benji stand up to James since yesterday morning in the kitchen. The sight of him taking control stirs the fire in my stomach that he evoked in me last night.

I like this Benji.

“You don’t,” James admits. “It threw me off guard when I saw the empty restraint downstairs. That’s all.”

James appears as though his thoughts are scrambling. Like he’s gone through emotional whiplash. His anger at thinking I’d escaped quickly turning into surprise, finding out I hadn’t.

“I told you I wouldn’t run.” I say to James.

“You did.”

Examining my face with speculation, James looks torn. He still doesn’t know whether he can trust me.

“I gave you my word. I know you don’t trust me yet, but in time I hope that changes.”

Silence falls over the five of us for a moment until Harry clears his throat.
